Compound Interest Calculator
Project savings or investment growth with an initial balance, annual or monthly recurring contributions, and an assumed effective annual return. Choose contribution timing at the start or end of each period. This is a planning illustration, not a guaranteed return.
What does the growth projection mean?
Compounding adds returns to the balance so future returns can build on them. Changing contributions, time or the assumed rate changes the projection. Actual returns vary; the projection does not establish an investment's suitability.
Does this calculate savings tax?
No. The projection does not calculate your Income Tax on interest or account for your personal savings allowance, ISA eligibility, fees or inflation. Compare a projected nominal balance with the purchasing power and after-tax return you need.
