UK Tax Calculator 2026/27
Free calculators for salary, self-employed profits, dividends, capital gains and property purchase taxes. The current UK tax year runs from 6 April 2026 to 5 April 2027; select a historical year where the calculator offers one.
Which tax calculator should I use?
Use the salary calculator for employee take-home pay and the self-employed calculator for annual profits after allowable expenses. Use the dividend calculator for salary plus dividends, the capital gains calculator for asset disposals, and the property calculator for purchase taxes. Compound interest is a projection, not a tax calculation.
What does UK coverage mean?
Salary and self-employed income estimates use England, Wales and Northern Ireland Income Tax bands, not Scottish non-savings income bands. Property taxes depend on the property location: England and Northern Ireland use SDLT, Scotland uses LBTT and Wales uses LTT. Results are estimates, not HMRC assessments or personalised advice.
